Event Cancellation Services was developed in 2008, after I went through the process of cancelling my own wedding.  I have been in the social work field for close to 9 years.  In those 9 years, my concentration has primarily been focused on women & relationships.  I received my Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Loyola University Chicago in 2006.  I now practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Chicago, Illinois. I made the decision to combine my personal experience (and all that I learned from the cancellation of my wedding) with my professional expertise when I realized how many women face this challenging situation & how helpful services like this could be.

You might be relieved right now and you might be devastated.  If you are like I was, you are both.  To have such conflicting emotions at such a complicated time, is just too much to ask of one person.  I was fortunate enough to have amazing people to help me.  These wonderful people took charge and did what needed to be done to help me cancel my wedding with as much class and grace as I had in planning it.  This is what I will strive to do for you.
